Risk Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Title: Risk Manager

SUMMARY:

The Risk Manager is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing property and casualty insurance, managing broker relationships, handling claims, and leading workplace safety programs. Reporting to the General Counsel, this position develops and implements risk strategies, conducts on-site safety inspections, ensures compliance with safety protocols, and creates training programs. With a hands-on approach, the role drives safety and compliance across multiple locations while mitigating risk and enhancing operational safety.

MUST BE LOCATED IN DUBLIN, OH AREA and be able to work onsite.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee aspects of risk management, including property and casualty insurance, claims handling, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Manage relationships with insurance brokers and external partners independently, ensuring optimal coverage and cost efficiency.

  • Lead the annual insurance renewal process by gathering data, preparing submissions, negotiating terms with brokers, and ensuring timely completion of policies.

  • Oversee fleet and rental car management, ensuring safety standards and procedures are followed.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all insurance and safety-related matters, including resolving claims and risk issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience in risk management and insurance, ideally within a large organization (Fortune 500 preferred).

  • Proven expertise in property and casualty insurance, claims management, and insurance renewals.

  • Strong ability to manage broker relationships independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
